NEW AWARD SHOW
A sports media awards program that acknowledges the work that goes into making great content by celebrating the people who do that hands-on work… without any of the “suits” spoiling a good time. This is a chance to spotlight industry up-and-comers and their best work with peers who know great content when they see it.
Organized by Blue Duck Media, The Duckies are open to anyone and everyone who works in this great big industry of ours, with categories recognizing everything and everyone from Best Guest Booker and Best PA to Best Photoshop, Best On-Air Blooper and everything in between. The goal is to recognize the work that is often overlooked at the typical industry award events. No offense to regular winners like Bob Costas, the TNT guys and Gameday, but this is about the people helping them - and so many others - behind the scenes.
The first annual Duckies were held in February, 2026. The Duckies will be back, bigger and better than ever during Super Bowl week 2027 in LA. Entries will open later this summer – stay tuned for details!
